Not Another Book?

Get ready fans! Mindy is getting ready to release her new book this Fall 2009 (September 1st to be exact!). In doing so she has a fun contest you can enter: To enter, simply email your name and mailing address to MindyStarnsClark@aol.com with the subject line CONTEST; Mindy will print out all entries, place in a hat, then have her kids draw one winner each day for August 22nd through the 31st. If your entry is drawn, you will be notified via email, your prize will be mailed to the address on the entry form, and your name will be listed here. Last possible day for entry is August 30th, but the sooner you enter, the more chances you'll have to win!

The end of August 2009 is just around the corner and I, for one, am super excited about the approaching date. Mainly, because I will be reading again. Looking forward to reviewing several new titles and meeting some new authors as well. September is going to be a fun month with lots of activity. Stay tuned!

I lied! There I said it. I visited our local Christan retailer: Selah and with a 50% off coupon and had to purchase Karen's new book. I just could not hold off. Literally I blame it souly on too much excitement about the release and then all it took was cracking the first page and I was hooked. So the sabbatical was off for a brief four days and is now back on. Still, I wanted to give you a quick sneak peek! " The Enclave " I have read several other blog critics that give you way to much of the story. In fact, I highly recommend you don't even read the back cover....just dive right into chapter one. You know what it made me realize - how much the Bible has to offer. I even had to get mine out and really scour. Saying to myself a few times, " No, that's not in there is it?
