The addiction for Book Three!

The power of the middle book! Don't middle books just set the tone! Think about it in book one you meet the author, the style, the characters, the setting, the...the...the...then wham you are smack into the juice of the plot and needing more. Book two comes along and these are no longer characters they are family. Of course, when book two ends you have an addiction drive for book three just so that the finale can really hit home.

All of that said, this is the feeling if and only if the author is truly talented. I am on the hunt for Book three!!

I am not currently reviewing a book/author or even reading Christian fiction at the moment. It is an interesting break from the normal and I am enjoying selecting the titles right now. Since I rarely read in the secular market it is often difficult for me to find authors that are enjoyable or to my tastes. In May or perhaps early of this year I was lent a copy of Twilight by Stephanie Meyers . Wait! Hold on! If you are completely rolling your eyes at this point and believe that I have joined the teen band wagon let me get just a few words in edgewise here. Thank you. As I was saying, I was lent a copy of Twilight a while back. I had no real desire to read it because, as you, I had no desire to join the throng of teens and even pre-teens obsessing over this book/saga. Another Book Give Away - Let's explore!

I have been sitting idle for a while on the whole book contest/give away idea mainly because so many people just email me "hey, I'll take a free book." The point of the contest is to learn more about books and reading right!? With that said, I don't really want to hear that you will accept a free book. I am sure that lots of people would take a free book. All of that said, let's try another book give away for Fall. Here is the requirement: I want to hear about what you read this summer. It does not have to be fiction, Christian, or even a book. Perhaps you read a great magazine article. Share you favorite read from this summer and why.
